Collect
Every city gets its own figures: famous personalities and characters who shaped its story. Travel to collect, and build a collection that grows with every destination.
Hand-painted collectible figures: the legends of their time, available only where their story unfolds. Our first collection belongs to Trier.
Karl Marx, Trier Edition No. II
Three ideas make Zeitlegende more than a souvenir.
Every city gets its own figures: famous personalities and characters who shaped its story. Travel to collect, and build a collection that grows with every destination.
The figures are only available on-site, in the souvenir shops of each city. That makes every figure a genuine travel keepsake. Figures tied to multiple cities are available in all of those cities, and only there.
Every figure unlocks its character in the Zeitlegende app: to view, collect, and have a real conversation with the historical personality. History that stays alive, whenever you want.
No stiff statues: each figure is caught mid-moment. Four characters, 1,500 years of city history. 10 to 12 centimetres, hand-painted.
Born in 1818 on Trier's Brückenstraße, Marx became the most debated thinker of the modern era. His birthplace draws visitors from around the world.
From 306 to 316 AD, Constantine ruled the Western Roman Empire from Trier. His palace hall still stands today: the Basilica of Constantine, the largest unsupported interior of antiquity.
Mother of Emperor Constantine and one of the most powerful women of her time. Venerated as Trier's patron saint, she is credited with discovering the True Cross in Jerusalem.
The Jesuit priest and poet lived and died in Trier in 1635. With his treatise Cautio Criminalis, he stood courageously against the torture and witch trials of his era.
Trier Edition: 4 figures to start. More characters and cities are in preparation.
What sets our figures apart from standard souvenirs, illustrated through Karl Marx.
Most souvenir figures just stand there.
A Zeitlegende figure is right in the middle of it.
It is done. Overjoyed, Marx storms to the printer, manuscript tucked firmly under his arm.
Tucked firmly under his arm: months of work, finally complete.
The printer is about to close, but nothing can stop him today.
Pure euphoria, mid-stride: he knows what these pages will unleash.
The moment turns the figure into a conversation piece.
In the app, Marx tells it himself.
Four steps from historical person to finished collectible figure.
Who was this person, and what defines their moment? Sources, places, and historical records form the foundation.
From research comes the character: posture, expression, material concept and a finished 3D model.
Before the mould is made, the figure is printed and handled: proportions, details, impact, everything is checked.
The mould is cast, each figure hand-painted and packaged individually, ready for the shelf and your collection.
Light or Terracotta: two edition looks that are instantly recognisable as Zeitlegende on any shelf.
Unified edition look with city name and character: packaging you want to keep, not throw away.
Display window instead of a surprise box: the quality of the paintwork sells itself best when you can see it.
Every box contains the code that unlocks the character in the Zeitlegende app. A purchase becomes an experience.
Some figures belong to multiple cities. Constantine, for example, to Trier and York, where he was proclaimed emperor. Every figure is bound to its city or cities: no shipping, no reorder from home. What is only available on-site has a value no web shop can match.
Collect, view, and talk to it.
Every figure lands in your collection. The gaps show who else is out there to find.
The figure in 3D, with a profile: who they were and their number in the series.
A real voice conversation. The figure responds freely, in its own character.
Only owners hear the secret monologue: the personal story behind the figure.
The vinyl figure from the shop, your souvenir.
The QR code is inside the box.
The figure is there and ready to answer you.
Zeitlegende is built as a system for many cities.
Trier is the first.
Every city gets its own characters, its own stories, and its own edition. To collect, you have to travel. And once you've started, you'll automatically look out for the figures at the till in the next city.
For you as a retailer, that means: you're not selling just any souvenir, but your city as part of a growing collection.
More legends, more cities. A preview of what's coming.
Zeitlegende brings a product to your shop that simply doesn't exist yet.
9 to 12 cm tall, finely detailed, hand-painted. A quality that visibly stands apart from standard souvenirs.
As one of our first partners, you help shape the terms. We agree on price and margin together in a direct conversation.
Your customers can only get the figure on-site and only from selected retailers. That creates demand no online shop can poach.
The figures take up little space: a small counter display or a single shelf meter is enough for the complete edition.
We're launching with selected partners. Get in touch and we'll present the figures to you in person.
Become a RetailerAnswers to what shop owners ask us first.
Because the place is the product. A Zeitlegende figure is not a mail-order item, it is a reason to shop exactly there. That makes it more valuable for your shop than any souvenir also available online.
Deliberately few. Zeitlegende is not meant to be a mass product available in every souvenir shop. How many partners make sense per city is something we work out together.
A small counter display or a single shelf meter is enough. The figures work best at eye level, close to the till.
That is what we are figuring out. Trier is the start, but the concept is built for many cities. Write to us, we look forward to the conversation.
The app turns the figure into an experience and increases its desirability. We also plan to make point-of-sale locations visible directly in the app, including your shop.
Not an anonymous wholesaler. Direct, personal, straightforward.
Zeitlegende is built in Trier with the goal of being present in many cities. Every character is developed from scratch, every partnership initiated personally.
For you, that means: no middleman, direct agreements, and always one dedicated contact.
